ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Lissy and I love music. For me, music is such an important and honest way of creating art. It allows emotions to be expressed, experienced and even processed and it can even revive feelings that have not been felt for years.  

I am lucky to have been brought up in a very musical family. I started learning the recorder as a child, then the piano and finally the guitar. My musical inspirations are composed of 70's rock-pop and modern folk-pop. I love to dream myself away to the music of Fleetwood Mac or Joni Mitchell, but I am also fascinated by modern artists such as Danger Dan or Taylor Swift. My audience has often made comparisons between my music and the art of Joan Baez.   

I've been writing my own songs since I was ten years old - mostly in English, but occasionally in German.

In 2013, I had the unique opportunity of recording my first song ‘Speechless’. After an extended break of 10 years, I decided to share my music with other people again. This decision has enriched my life ever since and I am grateful for every moment I get to make music for and with others. I regularly play small concerts in Flensburg and the surrounding area - I 'd be honoured to play at your next event on enquiry.
